Frequently Asked Questions
Can I try a class for free?
Yes, we offer a Free Trial for any genre of dance you are interested in trying out. This means you can have more than one Free Trial class.
Is prior experience needed?
It depends on the class. Our level one classes are intended for beginners.
Is the $72.50 tuition per class or per month?
The $72.50 tuition is for one weekly class per month.
If my child misses a class, can they do a makeup class?
Yes, we offer "make-ups" for a missed class. The "make-up" can be used in any other age-appropriate within the same genre and only within 1 month of the date the class was missed. Make-ups are not transferable between family members. You can schedule Make-up classes from your Parent Portal.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, there is a dress code for most classes at FLEX. Please see more about our dress code here. You are not required to follow the dress code when doing a free trial.
What kind of performance opportunities do you offer?
All FLEX students will have the opportunity to perform in our annual recital in June. Students will also have the opportunity to audition for our original holiday production "Storytellers." FLEX Force Company members have many additional performance opportunities.
What is Flex Force?
Flex Force is our performance-based dance company that performs at various local events such as farmer's markets, the children's day in the plaza, county fairs, festivals, etc…
Do you offer classes for adults?
Yes! We are very proud to offer more adult classes than any other dance studio on the central coast. Please see our schedule for a full list of classes here.
